Kuala Lumpur Sheraton Imperial Hotel Review

The Sheraton Imperial publishes some fantastic rates often hovering around $100 at spg.com.
The hotel is located not far from Bukit Bintang which is a Kuala Lumpurs vibrant city center. It's about a 20 minutes walk to Chankat Bukit Bintang and Jalan Alor.
The hotel upgraded me to a enormous suite at the 37th floor. The suite featured an enormous loving room and bedroom with views over KL. The bathroom was equally huge with a separate (double!) shower and bathtub.
The Internet is lightning fast, the service impeccable and the lounge pretty decent with a sampling of appetizers and a well stocked bar.
The breakfast has an enormous selection of food and drink options (forgot my camera, sorry). However the quality of food is average or below average. It's just too much. Coffee specialties are fantastic though as well as the fresh smoothies and other drink options.
The gym is very well equipped and airy.
I liked the coffee bar Toastina a lot which has a great outdoor seating area and some fantastic coffee (overall KL is a coffee lovers heaven!). KL has an enormous choice of well-priced chain hotels with the Ritz Carlton often selling for under $200. The Sheraton is no beauty for a very good work horse. If you can get a suite upgrade go here it's quite a treat.
