Corporate travelers can often benefit from cheaper stays with select hotel brands and this includes Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. Corporate discounts work by negotiating a discount - if a company has a large footprint in the area of the hotel the discount is likely bigger. The reverse is also true.

If you travel for business, it's possible to get a lower rate by booking your Wyndham stay in advance online using aparticular code. Depending on hotel availability, your negotiated rate may not be available on the requested dates and not all corporate codes work with all properties.

Corporate rates are usually stated as strictly only for corporate use by employees, so they are to be used at your own risk, especially as you may need relevant ID when checking in. When booking with a corporate code on this site, it states thatproof of eligibility will be required at check-in.

How do I use Wyndham Corporate Rates?

You can easily add the code to your online reservation from the homepage; click on 'Special Rates & Codes' and then enter your code in the 'Corporate Code' box:



There seems to beveryfew codes listed online (and surprisingly, we couldn't find codes for any major businesses), so your best bet may be asking your own company which code you should use. Plus forsome of the codes we found online, we couldn't find out which companies they belonged to!

For our tests, we chosethe Days Inn Philadelphia Convention Centeron June 12th, 2017.It comes out at $309 plus taxesfor the(flexible) Best Available Rate; there's no member rate, so thistest will compare the BAR with the corporate rate:



Most ofthe codes we tried for our test booking worked to give us a discount of either 15% or 20% off the BAR:

This corporate account came up as unavailablefor this property anddates:

• 1000009871 The Employee Network

We found that only two discounts were given - either the 'Net Preferred Corp' rate or the 'Member Benefits' rate; 'Net Preferred Corp' is noted as the 'Discounted Rate For Travelers Affiliated With Participating Companies' and the 'Member Benefits'rate is said to be 'For Travelers Affiliated With Participating Member Benefits Organizations'.

It's interesting to note that three of the corporate codes that we tried gave us the rate of$262.65, which was the same price as the Advance Rate.

What else do I need to know about Wyndham Corporate Rates?

It's always useful to compare the corporate rate you're using with other rates on the Wyndhamwebsite, so you can see exactly how much of a discount you're getting.In this instance, most of the codes we tried gaveemployees20% off the Best Available Rate, although you may well get a much better saving when searching other dates orproperties.

If your business isn't listed on any of the sites that you check, you could ask HR if there is a corporate code that you can use or contact Wyndham.

Keep in mindthat many hotel brandsare extremely vigilant about codes being abused and if you try to check in without proof that you are entitled to use a corporate code, you could lose your place to stay or end up having to pay the rack rate instead!
