MyFreighter, an Uzbekistan-based cargo airline, has continued its fleet expansion strategy, leasing two additional Boeing 767-300BCF aircraft from ATSG.

This move increases MyFreighter's fleet to a total of five Boeing 767-300 converted freighters, strengthening its cargo transportation capabilities within Uzbekistan and Central Asia.

In a significant milestone, the company has also acquired its first Boeing 747-200 freighter, which will enable it to handle larger cargo volumes over longer distances.

This marks the first time a Uzbekistan-based company will operate a Boeing 747-200 freighter, demonstrating MyFreighter's ambitions to expand its reach and service offerings.

The Boeing 767-300BCF aircraft leased by MyFreighter can carry up to 50 metric tons of cargo, enabling the airline to transport larger shipments more efficiently.

The conversion from a passenger aircraft to a freighter configuration involves the removal of the passenger cabin, the installation of a cargo loading system, and the reinforcement of the aircraft's structure to handle the increased payload.

MyFreighter's fleet expansion strategy is aimed at tapping into the growing demand for air cargo services in Central Asia, where the company sees significant growth opportunities.

The addition of the Boeing 747-200 freighter will allow MyFreighter to offer specialized heavy lift capabilities, enabling the transport of oversized or exceptionally heavy cargo that cannot be accommodated on the smaller Boeing 767 aircraft.

By diversifying its fleet with both wide-body and narrow-body freighters, MyFreighter can optimize its operations to handle a wider range of cargo types and route requirements, providing more flexibility to its customers.

The leasing of the Boeing 767-300BCF aircraft from ATSG, a leading cargo aircraft leasing company, demonstrates MyFreighter's focus on partnering with reputable aviation service providers to ensure the reliability and efficiency of its operations.
